czirp czirp is showing a spectrum of installations and sound performances dealing with the capacity of analogue recording, colliding frequencies and volatile spheres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

czirp czirp is very happy to invite the unique australian noise musician and sound artist Lucas Abela to Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will perform his – among the noise community well known – set using glass pieces to make sound and show an installation piece (MIX TAPE)
in which the audience is asked to participate in experimental sound making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chad Matheny, EMPEROR X, is a USAmerican musician wandering between very different performance formats.
Last year czirp czirp joined him on a WALK through the city where he showed his unplugged improvising and entertaining qualities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chad is not only a brilliant entertainer but a very interesting experimental artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With SPHERE he will show a 4 channel sound installation and might also present his latest songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IKO NORI & STEFAN KUSHIMA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Iko and Stefan are preparing a lo-fi composition based on tape loops and re-recordings.
This is a very special occasion to see them play together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BJ\u00d6RN SEGSCHNEIDER
Bj\u00f6rn is a visual artist who works strongly with analogue recording media as vinyl, and tape recordings. In the past these works took unusual paths as he began a series of deep fried tape cassettes.
Most known though, are his cut up vinyl records holding fragmented sound montages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In SPHERE he will show the sound installation TIDE, a two channel recording playing white and pink noise intriguingly simulating the sound of the sea.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
