Following a feminist and ecological ideal, we engage this mythological figure diffractively and renew its form through the inversion of gender and social roles, as well as a strong emphasis on the processes of becoming and states of being an animal. In the spirit of Donna Haraway\u2019s \u201cmaking kin\u201d, we encourage the audience to walk away with a heightened ecological awareness regarding all species, and contribute to a modern, re-configurated morphology of the faun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially selected artists: <a href=\"https:\/\/alexfranzzehetbauer.com\/\">Alexander Zehetbauer<\/a> (USA\/AT), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ww.netzzeit.at\/en\/current\/\">Construction Choir Collective<\/a> (Intl.\/Vienna), synchron swimmers group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-C0PS1Cq1dM\">QueerH2O<\/a> (Intl.\/Vienna) and the ensemble <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/category\/Artist\/airborne-extended-116487532252864\/\" target=\"_blank\">Airborne Extended<\/a> (AT)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>German Wiener Festwochen 2020 in cooperation with czirp czirp \u2013 experimental and sonic arts.
