Hybrid Weather Forecast System

Weather determines our mood, decisions, and feelings. It affects us physically and is increasingly a threatening concern. Tactile audio technologies render weather phenomena and human sensibility. Logi_Ciel artistically analyzes and augments atmospheric forces. What we hear and feel is the sound of a climate in flux.

Referring to the French term logiciel, “software,” we develop a hybrid weather forecast system that sonically analyzes weather phenomena. This “celestial computation” and tactile rendering through musics conveys the meteōra musikē, occurring between the sky and earth.
